ASHP Asset Management (ASHPAM) are now installing Hitachi air source heat pumps under the Government’s Assignment of Rights (AoR) Scheme with HIES* member, Air2Energy.

The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) Assignment of Rights (AoR) scheme can help homeowners overcome the barrier of the upfront cost of purchasing a renewable heating system, such as an air source heat pump, by introducing the Assignment of Rights.

The scheme allows for an ‘Investor’ to help fund the initial cost of installing a renewable heating system. In return, the customer would subsequently assign their Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) payments to the ‘Investor’.

As an Ofgem ‘Approved Investor’, ASPHAM will fund the purchase and installation of air source heat pumps for customers and in return receive the rights to the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) payments.
